Indexes API provides specific KPIs relative to a {Location}, briefly described below.

Travel Barometer

Travel Barometer expresses, in the range [0,100], the well-being of the tourism industry, where:

  • 0: indicates the lowest degree of well-being of the tourism industry.
  • 100: indicates the maximum degree of well-being of the tourism industry.

Seasonal Peak

Seasonal Peak expresses, in an unlimited positive range [0,∞[, a quantitative metric of contents compared to the correspondent historical seasonal peak, where:

  • 0: indicates the absence of contents in the selected period.
  • 100: indicates the same amount of contents in the selected period compared to the correspondent historical seasonal peak.
  • > 100: indicates a higher amount of contents in the selected period compared to the correspondent historical seasonal peak.

Seasonality Balance

Seasonality Balance expresses, in the range [0,100], a quantitative degree of contents variation between different periods of the year, where:

  • 0: indicates the minimum seasonality balance, therefore the maximum variation of contents between different periods of the year.
  • 100: indicates the maximum seasonality balance, therefore the minimum variation of contents between different periods of the year.

LGBTQ+

LGBTQ+ expresses, in the range [0,100], a qualitative degree of LGBTQ+ inclusion perception, where:

  • 0: indicates the lowest degree of LGBTQ+ inclusion perception.
  • 50: indicates neutrality of LGBTQ+ inclusion perception.
  • 100: indicates the maximum degree of LGBTQ+ inclusion perception.

Popularity

Popularity expresses, in an unlimited positive range [0,∞[, a quantitative and qualitative metric based on the number of POIs, their digital traces and Sentiment, where:

  • 0: indicates the lowest degree of popularity.
  • 100: indicates the de facto maximum degree of popularity.
  • > 100: indicates a popularity level which exceeds the de facto maximum degree.
